LG IPECS
Offering the features and functionality of a 'traditional' telephone system, the architecture of the IPECS is very different. Although telephone calls are made and received in exactly the same way as a traditional PBX, calls are handled and transported via an Ethernet network, normally the same network that transports users data to and from their PC's.
Using the same infrastructure for both data and voice can provide cost savings and performance improvements. Users will only need one data point next to their desk for both their telephone and PC for instance. It can also offer reduced administration and maintenance costs.
The IPECS is designed to be modular, allowing a basic system to be purchased that is perfectly matched to your needs now and that will grow and expand with you as your business develops. System components can be housed in a single cabinet, which can be wall, desk or 19" rack mounted or distributed around your existing network.
Overall, the IPECS is designed to offer all of the benefits of a traditional telephone system in a contemporary, up to date format utilising the latest VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and networking technologies.
